​Greetings Hampton Elementary School Families, 

A few updates for you as we begin the week! 

Grade 5 Bike Rally – Our annual grade 5 Bike Rally takes place tomorrow, Monday, June 12th. Thank you to all our volunteers assisting with this event, and to all our teachers who have help organize the ride! The route is from HES to Hampton High along the Spooner Island route. We will take this route back to the school as well. 

A note for parents that you can drop off bikes in the gym on Sunday, June 11th 6:00-7:00pm or Monday morning between 7:50am – 8:20am. We are asking that all bikes be picked up by 4:30pm, Monday June 12th . Thank you for your continued cooperation. 

A BIG THANK YOU to Millennium Cycle who are checking on bikes in the gym. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to our RCMP partners who are ensuring that we can safely cross the road! Thank you to our volunteer cyclists who will meet in the gym by 8:45am. Students will be called down to the gym at 9:00am. The RCMP will lead us up the hill. 

Grade 5 Moving Up Celebration – We are looking forward to celebrating our Grade 5 students at our Moving Up Celebration on June 21st @ 11am. We will have seating for two family members per student for this celebration. 

HES Swims at the Hampton Pool– Swimming continues this week for students. Your child’s teacher will be in contact regarding their class swimming sessions.
